Day Twenty-Six
It's one week since my last post. I was supposed to have completed Chapter One this week. I didn't. In fact, I didn't really work on anything this week. Major FAIL. Now I need to revise my schedule and break it down into smaller chunks because saying I need to write a chapter per week is too overwhelming. Yesterday I had big plans to get stuff done, but I did nothing. Today I dragged myself into the office. I need to write Jean back from a few days ago and revise my schedule into tiny bite size pieces so I can stay on track.

Day Twenty-Five
Today is Day 25. The first day of my second power run. I want to be finished on Monday, March 21 so I will have one week to edit. That means I have exactly 31 days to write my first draft. Let's get it started!
I need a plan:
The week of 2/20 (ten pages): Chapter One: RMP Models: Organized by type, location. Open to any one, one to one, different rules, different stickers.
The week of 2/28 (ten pages): Chapter Two: What people screw up: Websites not updated, name of program, people allowed in, who participates, number of participating museums. Why are they screwing this up? How is info disseminated?
The week of 3/7 (ten pages):Chapter Three: What to improve: central source of information like ASTC, awareness day, central forum for questions. What other questions could be answered.
The week of 3/14: Introduction and Conclusion
The week of 3/21: Footnotes, editing, formatting
Today I put together the Quick Guide. It's 41 pages long!

Day Twenty-Four
Today I worked on the Value section of my thesis. Two pages! It's not perfect, but I'll take it. Glad I worked on it after I got home from work. Got an email through to the Whitney. The woman said she would reply when she gets back from vacation early to mid March. I wish it were sooner, but I can work with that. Didn't get much info from Museums West, but oh well. I have one person who agreed to be on panel for the conference. I need one more by Friday. No problem!

Day Twenty-Three
I emailed the Museums West manager, posed the reciprocal question to the listserv so I can try to find panelists, tried to email Whitney but it got sent back, emailed Jean to try to find out the answer to some of my questions. These were all very good steps! Tonight I will try to write something :)
Wrote my thesis statement. Not much else. Don't know where to start or how to cite my survey data.

Day Twenty-Two
I got the Turabian book yesterday. I read it while at jury duty. It didn't have all the answers I hoped it would have, specifically--can you use "I" and how to quote the info I collected in my surveys. Today I am making a list of stuff I still need to do and getting started on writing! I also set up my thesis template so I'll have the right formatting.
